Description
Crispy on the outside, tender inside — these Air Fryer Cajun Potatoes are packed with bold, smoky flavor and ready in under 30 minutes. A healthier alternative to deep-frying, perfect as a snack, side, or appetizer.
Ingredients
4 medium Yukon Gold or red potatoes (washed and sliced)
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning (store-bought or homemade)
1 teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon onion powder
Salt to taste
Optional garnish: chopped parsley, lemon wedge
Instructions
Soak potatoes in cold water for 30 minutes to remove starch.
Drain and pat dry thoroughly using a clean towel.
In a large bowl, toss potatoes with olive oil, Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt.
Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (193°C) for 3 minutes.
Place potatoes in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
Cook for 15–20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until golden and crispy.
Serve hot, garnished with parsley or a squeeze of lemon if desired.
Notes
Add 1 tsp cornstarch to the seasoning for extra crispiness.
Adjust cayenne pepper to make it more or less spicy.
Pair with spicy mayo, garlic aioli, or ranch for dipping.
