  • 1 (15 oz) can tomato sauce

  • 3 cups low-sodium beef broth

  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

  • 1/2 cup heavy cream

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella

  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan

  • Ricotta cheese (for topping)

  • Fresh parsley or basil (for garnish)


Instructions

  • Heat oil in a large pot over medium heat.

  • Brown ground meat, then add onion and cook until soft.

  • Stir in garlic and tomato paste; cook 1 minute.

  • Add tomatoes, sauce, broth, and seasonings. Simmer 20 minutes.

  • Stir in cream and Parmesan. Heat 5 more minutes.

 

  • Ladle soup into bowls. Top with mozzarella, ricotta, and herbs.
